Job Insight

A 360-degree customer facing support role overseeing the timely administration and ongoing growth of your designated customers. As an Account Executive your role is a varied remit and includes:

• Act as the “Customer’s Champion” in overseeing daily service excellence
• Account planning and development
• Hosting recurring customer account reviews both onsite and offsite.
• Timely and accurate responses to all aspects of customer contact
• Weekly invoicing and a first line responder for billing queries
• First line credit control duties
• Promoting of new services
• Production of “on demand” service data
• Oversee and manage the process of renewing customer contracts, ensuring timely communication and negotiation to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
• Monitor trading to profile and demand forecasting
• Trouble shoot and problem-solve including managing and communicating Non-Compliance
• Managing change, through the implementation of new business initiatives and strategies.

Person Specification

As a customer centric team player, you’ll be high organised and possess exceptional relationship expertise, combined with a service excellence mindset. You’ll have proven experience in problem solving and instilling continuous improvement initiatives into your daily routine.

As a competent customer services professional in a fast paced environment, you will carry a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and possess a sound understanding of the following aspects:

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as on an individual basis.
• Demonstrate personal standards alongside business values.
• Experienced & professional approach to all aspects of work.
• Well organised and disciplined, whilst remaining flexible and tenacious.
• Reliable, dependable, open, and trustworthy.
• Self-motivated, energetic & enthusiastic.

Education and experience

• Previous experience in Account management
• Sector exposure in any of the following Retail/ecommerce/ fulfilment/logistics
• Possessing knowledge of how Third-Party Logistics works
• Experience of using technologies e.g., CRM, Web Portals, etc.

Skills and Knowledge

• Good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Relationship building skills
• Ability to work under own initiative, and self-motivated
• High level of competence in use of Microsoft Office products
